ScentScout

Lifestyle app · built by the Vibecode team

ScentScout shows your fragrance collection as bottles on a cream shelf. Tap one and that exact bottle lifts off the shelf and grows into a full-screen gallery, where you swipe between bottles to see the story, notes, rating and how often you wear it. Discover has 32 popular colognes with family filters, and the Diary logs what you wore each day with a streak and a signature scent.

The prompt that builds it

We built ScentScout in 3 prompts. Here they are folded into one, so a single paste into a new app builds the finished version.

Build a native SwiftUI fragrance tracker for iPhone called ScentScout, styled like a boutique perfume counter on cream paper with brass and ink accents. Tabs: Shelf, Discover and Diary.

- Shelf: my collection as real bottle photos standing four to a shelf plate; the last slot adds a bottle.
- Tapping any bottle plays a hero transition: that exact bottle lifts off its card and flies, growing, into a full-screen bottle gallery while the new screen fades in around it. Closing (× or pull down) flies the bottle back to its own slot. This animation is the heart of the app, so make it perfect.
- Gallery: swipe between bottles; brand, name, a one-line story, family/concentration/year pills, wears, last worn and owned-since stats, a 5-star rating, the notes pyramid and a Wear today button.
- Discover: load it with about 30 popular colognes (Creed Aventus, Bleu de Chanel, Dior Homme Intense, Baccarat Rouge 540, Tom Ford, Parfums de Marly and more) with a Trending rail, family filter chips (Fresh, Woody, Amber, Floral, Gourmand) and search. Bottles I don't own show Add to Shelf.
- Diary: wears this month, day streak and signature scent, then wears grouped by day, with + to log what I'm wearing.

Seed realistic sample data so it opens straight onto a full shelf.
