Vibecode lets you turn your idea into a working app by describing what you want. Here’s how to get started.

Step 1: Sign Up and Create a Project

  1. Download the Vibecode app on iOS or open the web app
  2. Create an account with your email
  3. Tap New project in the iPhone app (or click New app on the web) and pick what you want to build:
    • iOS app: a native Swift app for iPhone and iPad
    • Mobile app: a React Native app for iOS and Android
    • Web app: a website or web app

Step 2: Describe Your App

Type a prompt that describes what you want your app to do. Be as detailed or as simple as you like — the AI will figure out the rest. Example prompts:
“Create a to-do list app where I can add tasks, mark them done, and swipe to delete”
“Build a recipe tracker where I can save recipes with photos and search by ingredient”
“Make a habit tracker with streaks and daily reminders”
Start simple. You can always add more features later by chatting with the AI.

Step 3: Generate and Test

  1. Send your prompt. Claude Code builds your app in real time, then tests it on its own and fixes what it finds
  2. Test it in the built-in preview. Native iOS apps run in a cloud iOS Simulator streamed to your screen; Mobile apps can also run on your phone by scanning the QR code
  3. Tell the AI what to change: “Make the header blue” or “Add a settings page”

Tips for Better Results

  • Go one feature at a time — build the core, test it, then add more
  • Be specific when it matters — “a Duolingo-style progress bar” beats “a progress bar”
  • Use the Pinch to Build menu to quickly customize colors, layouts, and components
  • Attach screenshots or mockups if you have a specific design in mind
