Custom Workout App

The app we created was Workout Tracker—a custom workout app that lets you build routines, log sets/reps/weights, track your history, and generate AI-powered exercise images.

Steps to Build the Custom Workout App:

  1. Describe your idea: Tell VibeCode you want a simple workout tracker like “Heavy,” with Home (history) and Workouts (routines) tabs.

  2. Auto-generate the base app: Let VibeCode create starter screens for history, workout routines, and workout detail.

  3. Add and customize routines: Add features to create new routines and add exercises with sets, reps, and weight fields.

  4. Create a workout flow: Make a way to “start” a workout from your templates and log set-by-set progress.

  5. Add real-time timer: Integrate a timer that runs during your active workout session.

  6. Add collapsible workout modal: Make the “current workout” persist and collapse above the app’s tab bar.

  7. AI-generate exercise images: Use VibeCode’s AI to create unique images for each exercise and add them to the app automatically.

  8. Style and polish: Refine the app’s look, adjust colors, fix UI issues, and generate a custom app icon.

  9. Sync and test: Make sure all features work, the timer is accurate, and image assets load for every routine/exercise.

  10. Deploy to the App Store: Finalize settings and submit the app using Expo/TestFlight for launch and sharing.
